DESPITE tough conditions, Tom O’Brien came out on top on Sunday, March 19, as he picked up an excellent bass.
Anglers took to Tenby South beach and they were all faced with strong winds and rain but many of them battled through.
Day light hours produced very little in the way of fish, but, as darkness fell, the fishing improved substantially and although many fish were under size, it kept the spirits up hoping for a decent fish.
Tom O’Brien managed to come up trumps with a beautiful Bass weighing in at 3lb 8 ounces which was photographed and weighed and returned unharmed.
In second place with a dog fish was Dave Etherington. Well done to both winners and all who turned up and gave it a go.
