His father, Peter Kraus, said today: “Doris & myself would like to say a massive thank you to all of you who have sent lovely flowers, cards and messages.

“It sure is appreciated – Karl was loved by many and always tried to help others. He was a fantastic son who I loved to bits and to see him so happily married to his beautiful wife, Suzi, made my day.

“He was a great dad for the children and his family always came first. He loved his bikes and made fantastic friends who were bikers. They are awesome, it was like one big family.

“Now he has left us with his memories after the fatal accident last Sunday.

“Son you will be missed so much. Rest In Peace, love you forever, Dad xxx”

Karl’s wife, Suzi Kraus, also paid tribute to him on behalf of their family.

She said: “It is with great sadness we announce that Karl passed away yesterday. He leaves behind his wife Suzi, sons Ollie and Liam, and step children Chloe and Kai.

“The family are thankful for all your well wishes, however would appreciate if their privacy was respected at this very sad and difficult time.”
