Tenby: Domino’s Pizza plans rejected

PLANS for a Domino’s Pizza to open a branch in Tenby have been rejected this morning (Aug 9) as Pembrokeshire Coast National Park’s Development Management Committee met to discuss the proposal.

The controversial plan, which would have seen the pizza chain located next to the war memorial in the town on the South Parade, has been a source of some strong debate amongst locals since plans were announced.

As well as increasing the likelihood of littering, residents argue the signage would be an eye sore and distract from the memorial.

The restaurant, which would have had seating for 64 people, received criticism from Tenby Civic Society and Tenby Town Council.
